In this auction is: RARE 1985 Screaming Trees MARK LANEGAN Velvetone MYLAR that made 1st PROMO PHOTO This is rare of the rare Screaming Trees stuff. Over the years I have listed some great Lanegan photos & promo items. Last year was the rest of my Sub Pop stuff I had and have a few more pieces that I may list later this year. This is 1985 issued from when they were with Velvetone for their "Other Worlds" EP that was the first release. This is the MYLAR "negative proof" which would have been used for their promo photos . The mylar had been in the tissue envelope for a long time so the edges and their name have come unglued so are loose like it was when originally being put together by hand but from age the glue has come undone. I did not glue it back together but could be done in minutes. What is as interesting as this mylar negative is on the tissue envelope the order was marked for only 50 photos originally! Some early stuff for sure. Now that Mark has passed it is time for another fan & collector to add this to their collection.
