Description: This is a rare 1960 pin (see picture) from the PIERCE, IDAHO CENTENNIAL. In 1860, Elias Pierce and Wilbur Bassett found the first gold in the State of Idaho, in what is now Pierce, Idaho. The Centennial was held on August 13-14, 1960. This pin, 2 inches in diameter, features a gold-panning logo and the dates of the Centennial. It is intact, exhibiting minor wear and some staining from handling and storage over the past 63 years. The clasp on the back of the pin is intact. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Pierce resident, Idaho historian, or vintage pin collector in your life! Postage is $5.00. And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases. Sorry, NO international shipping. Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
