Description: This rare 1950s "Sir Walter Raleigh" litho, knob top 14 ounce tobacco tin, measuring 5 " x 5", is in very good condition with no rust or dents and some very minor age related paint scratches on the body. The original high gloss finish remains on the body of the tin but not on the liod. There is a complete tax stamp. This very attractive bright orange tin features a portrait of Sir Walter Raleigh the famous Elizabethan explorer, smoking a pipe. The tobacco was manufactured by the Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company, Louisville, KY.
