Description: RARE 1947 QUBIC - THE SPACE GAME 3-D Tic Tac Toe Game in Box by DUPLICON Co. Qubic, also known as 3D tic-tac-toe, is an abstract strategy board game played on a 4×4×4 cubical array of cells. Here’s how it works: Objective: The goal is to get four of your own markers in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Gameplay: Players take turns placing their markers in blank cells on the board. Winning Rows: You can win on a single board (like regular tic-tac-toe). You can win vertically in a column. You can win diagonally through four boards. The game is used and in its original box. The box suffers from wear, but is in acceptable condition. The original instruction sheet is missing, so I printed one off of the internet and it's included in the box. I put all of the colored discs inside of a clear ziplock bag and did the same with all of the supports for the various layers. There is one support missing for the top layer, but the last owner of the game created a red support, which I have included. The base and all three clear layers are stacked on top of each other inside the box. The base has all four screws already in the bottom that the vertical supports inside the ziplock bag screw into to build the game. While this antique game from 1947 isn't in perfect condition, it is in good shape. I assembled in once before taking it apart to make sure that it was structurally sound. It will make for hours of fun and makes traditional tic tac toe a little more thought provoking. See photos for additional details. I have discounted the price due to the wear on the box and the one improvised support that is missing. * I OFFER COMBINED SHIPPING TO ALL OF MY U.S. BASED CUSTOMERS WHO PURCHASE TWO OR MORE ITEMS SIMULTANEOUSLY!
