Description: Rare authentic 1940s "Your Choice By Voice" Remote Jukebox "Your-Choice-By-Voice" music system was a method of delivering music to cafes in days before the automatic jukebox. This music selection speaker device was installed on a table and connected over telephone lines to a remote location. Depositing a coin would connect you to an operator by microphone. You would talk directly into the receiver to tell a music operator which record you want to hear. Songs titles were listed on sheets handed out to patrons at bars and cafes. Your selection would then be played on a turntable and transmitted to the speaker by telephone line. This unit is not tested as a speaker and sold as a collectible and decorative memorabilia. It is overall in good vintage condition with some scratches on the plastic and some wear and rust spots on the metal Please see pictures for condition and contact me before buying if you have any questions.
