Description: This rare 1910s "Tiger" litho "picnic basket" hinged display tobacco tin, measuring 8" x 5 3/8" x 10 1/8" is in good condition with minor superficial rust on the interior and exterior bottom, a couple of very small dents and some age related paint chips and scratches. The handles and hinge are in excellent working order. This very attractive red and black basket tin features detailed tiger head images on all four sides as well as a "Tiger "chewing tobacco packet on the top. The tobacco was manufactured by the P. Lorillard Company, Jersey City, NJ.
