Description: “Catalogue of the Special Exhibition of Portrait Miniatures on Loan at the South Kensington Museum, June 1865.” Scarce and ephemeral fine art museum catalog. Quarter leather with gorgeous marbled boards and endpapers. Spine has been repaired with glue. Not sure what kind was used, but you can see it along the edge. Still an unusual book. There is some minor rodent damage at the bottom page block edge. Pages are clean internally. Front hinge does show some minor splitting to the threads. Sold as is!
