Description: This is Charles I (1625-1649), Exeter mint, Sixpence, 1644, mm. rose, large bust and lettering, rev. date to left of initial mark, (Besly A1; SCBI Brooker 1070; N 2578; S 3087). This Sixpence is rare and graded by PCGS as VF detail holed. It is common phenomenon that during the civil war period, the post-Charles I supporter holed the coin and make it as "medal" to show the support of Charles I. This Sixpence was graded by PCGS as VF detail - holed. As it is a rare issue, as a result, it is seldom seen on the market. I am personal collector which collecting coin since 1998, I sell my collection because I study my PhD in Engineering Management at the university again.
