This book, along with others in my storefront, were recently retrieved from a storage unit where they have been packed away and untouched since 1969. Most of these books belonged to the daughter of the president of the American Book Company, a publishing company that was founded in 1890. Before his retirement in 1916, he also worked as the Chicago representative for Harper and Brother’s company. These books were all lovingly looked after before and after their period in storage and are in great condition for their age.
