Description: Hello! I have a stunning, fine quality, vintage Ralph Lauren Purple Label, 100% cashmere sweater dress. Very rare, anywhere. The fact that it is vintage and in such beautiful condition…USA made. It appears to be handmade, judging by the cashmere covered buttons and attention to detail. It really is lovely and well cared for. No scent, piling or damage. (The *mannequin is a smaller size than dress). The garment is a size 8.Please see my measurements are compare to something you have a at home. across garment lying flat: chest 19” waist 13” hip 20” This lovely, maxi length dress is 38” long from shoulder. I do not see any significant piling if at all where one might expect to, meaning under arm etc. I find this garment to be lightly used. It is the proper shape and size as original. I think this dress is more than likely vintage, since R.L. mostly creates these fine garments in Italy, whereas our tag clearly state USA made. I find the garment to have a generous upper fit, more cinched at waist, please measure as there would be no forgiveness since it is seamstress darted. This skirt is shaped like the letter A and will have a generous flow. Could look outstanding with a great pair of boots. There are finely sewn in buttons of higher quality to close at ribcage on one side, along with a zipper. They have included a button at each cuff as well. I see also a classic peep hole in back at the nape with another, same color yet iridescent button. As you can see there is a cashmere coated belt to complete the look.
