Description: Chicago & North Western Railway Postcard Train Minneapolis St. Paul Stone Arch Bridge, Unposted This oversized card has a great photo of the "Twin Cities 400" streamliner crossing the Stone Arch Bridge. According to the card, the photo was taken in the late 1940s. The Twin Cities 400 was inagurated January 2, 1935 and remained in service until July 23, 1963. I believe this card was made in the 1970s. Normal edge and corner wear from handling. I believe this was mounted in a scrapbook or on a bulletin board at one time, as there are Magic tape triangles in the top two corners and one strip on the bottom edge. None of these obscure the photo. I did not want to try to remove them. Measures 5.5 x 8.75 inches. I will ship as soon as I receive payment.
