The casserole dish fits into the server, which has cutouts for the handles of the casserole. There is no aluminum lid; instead, it has a clear Pyrex lid. This is a great vintage piece that can be used as a casserole server or as a display piece. CONDITION: This is almost 70 years old and has been used. Most of the below is only noticeable except under close inspection: The lid has a 1-inch chip along one edge and several fleabites along the rim. It has scratches from utensils. The casserole dish has scuffs along the bottom exterior where it's been set on a counter or in the server. The casserole dish has a lot of utensil scratches.
