Lever handle is non locking. This is a lock-set that Provia provides with their storm doors and I believe made by but can be used with just about any storm door 1' to 1 1/4" thick. Note concerning the drilling template. With many years experience hanging doors I found I could not always trust the drilling templates. I seldom or never wrapped them around the door as the instructions show. Often it would set the lock to close or to far away from the jamb. I found it better to test my inside locks by holding a keeper on the jamb and see where it set best from the edge of the door to catch the keeper. I then draw a vertical line on the door at that point and then used the template to marks along that line.
