Description: Softcover / 412 Pages This book was so thorough in uncovering the inappropriate foundations of PK that along with a general letter from a Pastor in the Midwest to churches throughout America, PK was exposed as being very unhealthy. When the book first came out, it was kept in the back of Christian bookstores and had to be requested thereby showing the power of the PK book publisher. (I had heard this and went and verified it as true). In the book Pastor Arms outlines 31 objections regarding the movement. Primary amongst them were;1) Blasphemy against Jesus Christ found in the book "Masculine Journey" passed out for free at events until the complaints reached such a level that this book was pulled. (The author referred to Jesus as the "ultimate phallic male"!) This fact alone should have been enough to turn away even the most ardent supporter of PK, but in many cases it didn't. My comment to this situation is that these men should consider that no matter what benefit they got out of PK, there is NEVER an excuse to tolerate blasphemy.2) PK is inappropriately ecumenical embracing Mormons, Roman Catholics, and even homosexuals. If this is done to win them to Jesus it is one thing, but that was not the case at PK.3) PK played fast and loose with finances, and after over charging men to get in, they passed the hat (barrels) around for more each day. Eventually it was financial misconduct that primarily "killed" the movement. Unfortunately, PK is trying to make a comeback. That is why this book is important again. For those who continue to support PK, my question is this, "How much dirt has to be in the brownie before you won't eat it?" Galatians 5:9 "A little leaven leaventh the whole lump".
