Description: For your consideration, a pint size embossed bottle of: "Bourbon de Luxe, "vintage" for connoisseurs"For medicinal use only as the elegant, detailed labelpromises"Glorious sunshine of a thousand ages." Bottled In Bond, the distillery was American Medicinal Spirit company.Bourbon de Luxe was a brand of AMS;The bottom of the bottle carries an embossed AMS logo, and the back of the bottle also has the brand, Bourbon de Luxe, embossed . This is a sparkling Prohibition whiskey bottle, with clean and complete labels front and back. The tax strip shows shows that the whiskey was distilled in 1917 and bottled in what appears to be 1933 (the last year of Prohibition), - I say "appears" because the first three numbers are clear (193_ ) and fourth letter of the date makes it look like 1933, but the tax strip is not clear.Supporting this 1933 date is an additional paper strip on he front ofthe bottle: "Made 16 years ago," if we add sixteen to the clearly marked1917, the manufacture date, we get 1933. And with prohibition ending in Decemberof 1933, it makes this an important and very elegant example of anyprohibition collection. This is a guaranteed genuine one pint bottle of Bourbon de Luxe, the bottleand labels are very well preserved, with the colors still bright in one ofthe prettiest bottle labels of the era. All text (except the tax strip) is clearly legible. Make some good memories today,Martin If you like what you see, come visit my store.
