The stories are written by J.M. Barrie, A. Conan Doyle, H. Rider Haggard and Rudyard Kipling amongst others. The book is illustrated throughout with 14 coloured plates by Dulac, Detmold, Rackham, Flint etc and black and white drawings. A popular xmas present over 100 years ago. In very good condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pages are free from tears or marks. There is a neat ownership name and date to the front paper. There is some shelf wear to the top and bottom edges of the spine. Will be despatched wrapped in bubblewrap and in a cardboard box.
