Description: This is a great primitive nativity. It’s a pair, Joseph and Mary holding baby Jesus. They are 10” tall, wearing clothes made from vintage fabrics. Joseph has a coat of tan and black small plaid over a solid brown body. There is a cheesecloth wrap around his head and a belt around his waist. He has a sheep’s wool bread. He has a flat bottom. He carries a twig stick for his walking stick. Mary has a brown body with a light blue overlay. She has a navy tie around her waist and the same for a head piece that goes down her back. She has cheesecloth wrapped around her face. Baby Jesus has cheesecloth wrapped him. He is tight in her arms. They both have black faces. She has a flat bottom. These are adorable. I’m 82 and having to downsize my wonderful collections. Thanks for looking.
