Description: Unique handhooked rug measuring 4'6" x 2'7" from the 1920s with a character-rich mother cat and two kittens. The rug has loose or worn threads around the sides and seems almost reversible, save for some eye detail and tie-offs. Several bare spots and spot residue can be seen on the front, as well as a 2" edge tear. In general, the rug is whole with vintage appeal and could be tapestry-hung. It was hooked with skill and variation on a burlap material. Please see photos for more detail.
