This series of PUCK cartoons are clever, beautifully illustrated and provide an historical picture of the state of politics in 1886. TEXT: CLEVELAND'S LUCK ARTIST: Keppler, signed in plate CONDITION: EXCELLENT / VERY GOOD — Clear, clean, colorful and bright; no foxing, creasing or folds (other than the centerfold), and very good margins, perfect for framing. A really beautiful image. Nice dark lines and definition. (Note: There are a few very small binding holes in the centerfold; really small and barely visible. Binding holes are quite common for these prints, given they were almost always collected and stored in large books.) This print is about 135 years old and guaranteed to be original. It’s an authentic old chromolithograph from the aforementioned publication, and not a modern reproduction. The print is 13" x 20 1/2" with nice large margins.
