Description: Time capsule guitar. 90 years old. All original & in exceptionally fine condition. (unplayed..almost near mint) This is a Harmony-made, Supertone-branded (Sears), stenciled "parlor" guitar and it's date-stamped to 1934 inside. Body is solid birch construction with a poplar neck. Ebonized nut and bridge. Pearloid fretboard with black position markers. The neck has a medium very soft V shape, with a slight taper that almost feels like a C shape on the first few frets. The action is playable up and down the neck. The sound of this guitar is woody and warm with good projection. It comes with the original trap door case also in exceptionally fine condition.
