Based on the classic carpet bag shape, this medium-sized trapezoid-shaped bag is perfect for travel, casual outings, workwear or business meetings. My father bought this bag for my mother from the NYC Barbara Bui store (tagged at 5K), but now in her retirement she doesn't have enough occasion to use it and would like to find it a great home with someone who will love it as much as she has! The bag features a zip closure and a top handle strap in rich brown leather, which complements the exterior color of the bag - rich browns and shades of hazel and almond. The handmade bag is made of real python skin and the gold-colored brass hardware, rounded studs and leather accents add a luxurious touch. The bag has one outer (rounded peg and leather tab closure) and inner pocket (zipper closure), bottom studs, and comes with the original dust bag. The interior lining is made of soft beige suede and has a tiny leather pocket (.5" x 2.25" x 2.75") to the left just below the zipper of the interior pocket. All the zippers feature on one side her debossed initials "B.B." and leather purse pull attachments. Her signature debossed name tag "BARBARA BUI" is featured in brass on the exterior and in leather on the interior. ***PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING DETAILS FOR COMPREHENSION OF THIS ITEM AS IS AT PRESENT***There is some natural but gentle wear to the python skin exterior, most notably on the right side of the exterior pocket.There are some small visible abrasions and wear to the leather on the insides of the handles, the outer side of the front handle, the leather closure tab of the exterior pocket, and to both the outer and inner leather panels at the opening of the purse.There are a few pen marks on the inner suede lining below the tiny leather pocket but would come out with a professional cleaning.The front left hardware has some abrasions around the link for the strap but could probably be professionally treated and buffed out.
