Description: These pre-1997 UK £2 coins would be a superb addition to your coin collection or as a memento of the particular years they were issued. Unlike the present day bi-metalic £2 coins these early £2 coins were minted from a single gold coloured metal. The coins are in excellent condition given that they have been in storage for over twenty-five years. There is naturally a little patina but they are most desireable items. We try to photograph our items as accurately as possible but occasionally the digital image may not represent 100% true colours.
