Description: A Practical Guide for the Manufacture of Metallic Alloys: [ANTIQUARIAN & VINTAGE 1872] By A. A. Fesquet and Translated from French by A. Guttier. Published by Henry Carry Baird Publisher. The condition of this vintage hard covered book is good for its age. The covers, spine, corners and edges have moderate wear. The boards are brown cloth with embossing. The spine cover has some fraying. The pages have tanned due to age and appear to have only one or two stray pencil marks. The binding is fair and sewn. The hinges were broken just inside both of the covers. We have repaired the hinges with archival glue and tape. The binding is secure but not pretty! The end pages are a brown print, front end page is missing a small piece. Book is about the use of copper, zinc, iron, tin, lead and many other metals. Please examine all of the photographs carefully. Proceeds to Blount County Friends of the Library to benefit the Blount County Public Library in Maryville, Tennessee.
