Description: FEATURED IS A PAIR OF 1982-83 POSTCARDS DEPICTING TIMES WHEN QUEEN ELIZABETH II & RONALD REGAN WERE TOGETHER: The June 7, 1982 photo (#57 from the "Royal Family 1982" Series) shows the Queen and President Regan on horseback in a castle courtyard; the 1983 postcard depicts the Queen speaking at a function in San Francisco during a Royal Tour by yacht ... she is flanked by President Regan and George Schultz. There are two things evident ... there is a glimmer of the Queen's sense of humor on her lips and both men are laughing ... the second is that the over the top frou-frou of the 1980s did not serve the Queen's classic style well. The latter photo is identified as having been taken by Mary Anne Fackelman. Unused cards in just about Mint condition ... the very slightest age toning to verso of one card ... images unmarred & cards crisp new.
