Description: This item is in decent vintage condition. This very old glove box, lidded, measures approximately 11.5 x 4 x 2 inches. Made from birch bark and decorated with quills and also the word "gloves" written in quills on the lid ... a very unique one of a kind piece! There are some quills that are broken off and there is a break in the bark in an area shown in the photos near the word "gloves". These are signs of age which adds to the aged lovely look of this glove box (please view photos). A wonderful example of quill art. A very nice find ... these are getting difficult to find!
