Description: A lovely rosary dedicated to Pope St. John Paul II. It is made of clear, red faceted plastic beads; the paternosters in the body of the rosary are medals with images of the Holy Father on them. On one side is an image of him looking forward, on the reverse he is in profile. I photographed both sides above. The center medal shows the pontiff blessing the people on one side and a picture of Our Lady of Grace on the reverse with the words "I am the Immaculate Conception" above her (see photos). The crucifix is known as the "Pastor Crucifix," a replica of the one John Paul II had mounted on his papal staff. Perfect crucifix to complete a rosary dedicated to the sainted pontiff. Measures about 23 inches long from the center of the third decade to the tip of the crucifix. No broken beads or chain; in very good preowned condition.
