This is why we created this 3D printed anchor mount kit. It attaches to your pontoon Square 1-1/4 inch railings WITHOUT drilling into your pontoon rails unlike other solutions.It comes with nuts and bolts ( hardware) and velcro straps to cinch it and strap it down. This mount will accommodate a pole that is 19 millimeter in diameter. If yours is smaller, you can use electrical tape to add more girth to it. Most people will need a pair to hold the length of their entire pole which will stretch from the bow to the stern. You may want a spare holder to support the middle. Note: This is 3D printed and printed with thick and strong settings. The manufacturing process of 3D printing isn't like injection molding so surface blemishes are normal. In addition, strength may not be uniform and therefore you should use this at your own risk, but anecdotally, we've found these to hold up really well and have not broken. We have towed the pontoon with the anchor mounted on the railings at highway speed without issue. We suggest using additional cam buckle straps / lashing / cable ties / etc to cinch it down further out of an abundance of caution.
