This listing is for a distribution service which involves you mailing your copy of Pokemon Ruby, Pokemon Sapphire and/or Pokemon Emerald to me, where I will then use my authentic Eon Ticket to distribute a legitimate and authentic Eon Ticket to your game save, which you can then use to catch Latias in Ruby, Latios in Sapphire, and/or the Lati twin that doesn’t match the color you chose on TV in Pokemon Emerald. The Eon Ticket was an e-Reader card for the short-lived e-Reader accessory for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance. Using this card, people could add special content onto their copies of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. As you could probably guess via the name and the look of the card, the card gives you the ability to unlock the Eon Ticket, which you can then use to go to Southern Island and catch both Latias and Latios on one copy of Ruby or Sapphire. Normally you are required to own both Ruby and Sapphire to get both legendary Pokemon, as only one of them is available in the game without this event, but the Eon Ticket allows you to catch the other Lati twin natively. In Pokemon Emerald however, they unfortunately removed e-Reader support due to the accessory failing hard in regards to sales, but can still be added to the game thanks to “Record Mixing.” The physical Eon Ticket e-Reader card was given away only on two occasions; the first being through Nintendo Power Magazine, where Volume 173 contained the card, while the second method was E3 2003, where attendees could receive the card. The one used in this listing is the E3 2003 card, though there are zero differences between the two cards besides the packaging they came in. Distribution was also available for a select time at Toys R’ Us, where if you came to the store at a specific time, they would send the ticket onto your game. Due to the nature and rarity of this ticket, the physical Eon Ticket has shot up to incredibly high prices. This distribution service is meant to allow those who wish to gain access to Southern Island and catch Latias and/or Latios the opportunity to do so many years after its inception without having to pay the absurdly inflated prices for the card, or needing the many other things to distribute it such as a second GBA or the e-Reader. This event makes a great gift for those looking to relive secret Pokemon events, those looking to authentically complete their Pokedex, event Pokemon collectors, among many other things. (This listing contains bonuses alongside the Eon Ticket, including free bonuses as thanks for purchasing, so continue reading for further information) General Information:Upon purchase, messaging me or showing interest, I will go ahead and run through all of the requirements your game(s) need to meet in order to receive the service(s) of interest. The physical Eon Ticket used is 100% legitimate, along with the Latios and/or Latias you can catch; they are completely legitimate and legal and is thus compatible with Pokemon Bank and Home. Detailed Information:As you can see in the 3rd picture in the listing (which shows the contents of the Eon Ticket pamphlet), there are certain steps you need to take before you can receive the Eon Ticket in Pokemon Ruby and/or Sapphire. Please make sure you read that, as I’ll be going less in depth in comparison to it. For Pokemon Emerald set up, please continue reading. In order to receive the Eon Ticket, you must have access to the “Mystery Events” menu, which if you have not unlocked, must be done first. It can be unlocked once you have five gym badges, where a man in Petalburg City’s Pokemon Center will now appear and when interacted with, will ask you to create a profile. By inputting the phrase “MYSTERY EVENT IS EXCITING”, you will then unlock the Mystery Events menu. If you mail in your game(s) without this tab being unlocked though have reached far enough into the game to continue with the distribution, I’ll unlock it for you and continue on with the service, though I advise unlocking it for yourself first. Technically, as long as this option is unlocked/have met the conditions to unlock the menu option, you are ready to send in your game to receive the elusive ticket. However, there are other things you should be aware of. Though you only need 5 gym badges to unlock the Mystery Events option, you can only actually gain access to the Eon Ticket upon completing the Pokemon League, or rather completing the main game. You do not get the Eon Ticket immediately, but rather you must go talk to your in-game father, Norman, who will then give you the Eon Ticket. From there, assuming you have beaten the game, you can go to Lilycove City and take the ferry to Southern Island, where Latias will await you in Pokemon Ruby and Latios will await you in Pokemon Sapphire. Catching Latios/Latias via this method is also the only way in the Generation III games to receive Soul Dew, a powerful special attack and special defense raising item for the two Pokemon. Receiving the Eon Ticket through a direct distribution with the e-Reader also gives users the ability to use the “Record Mixing” option to send an Eon Ticket to other Hoenn games for them to use in their own copy. Unfortunately, there is a finite number of Eon Tickets you can transfer, so be wary of who(se cartridges) you transfer the ticket to. On the topic of Record Mixing, the next section will be dedicated to such, and by this logic, Pokemon Emerald. If you have not yet gotten five gym badges in Ruby and/or Sapphire, you can actually use the “Record Mixing” option to obtain one beforehand. Record Mixing is also the method used to receive the Eon Ticket in Pokemon Emerald, as the US release of Pokemon Emerald removed the Mystery Events menu entirely. In order to unlock Record Mixing, you must have reached the Mauville City Pokemon Center, as once you have entered the building, Record Mixing will be unlocked and will be accessible in any and all Pokemon Centers. As stated, in the case of Pokemon Emerald, the Eon Ticket can still thankfully be transferred over to the game thanks to Record Mixing with a copy of Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire that was directly given the Eon Ticket through the e-Reader distribution. For this aspect of the service, I’ll be using my own copy of Pokemon Ruby that was distributed the Eon Ticket and will Record Mix if Pokemon Emerald is sent over. Obviously please be aware that you will be unable to give Eon Tickets to others with Record Mixing due to this being the only method of how to obtain the Eon Ticket in Pokemon Emerald. The one good thing about Pokemon Emerald however is that you technically don’t need to have five gym badges to receive it due to you only needing that amount to unlock the Mystery Events option. You instead technically need only 2 badges, as you don’t need to do the Mauville City gym - you just need to reach the city’s Pokemon Center. This also applies to copies of Ruby and Sapphire which are given the Eon Ticket with the Record Mixing method. Please note that the Eon Ticket is one of the few secret events/islands which is not available in the Pokemon generation I remakes, Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. Those games are not compatible with this listing. Also, if you do not meet the requirements mentioned above to receive the Eon Ticket via the e-Reader and that is the method you wish to have it sent, I unfortunately will have to either do the Record Mixing method or refund you and send your cartridge(s) back, though I cannot refund shipping. Please try to avoid this outcome at all costs; I assure you it’s not fun for either party. Bonuses:SENDING EON TICKETS TO OTHER SAVES - (Already mentioned, but making sure you’re aware) If you have been sent an Eon Ticket via the e-Reader, you can use “Record Mixing” to send an Eon Ticket to another copy of Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald. As stated, there unfortunately is a limited number of Eon Tickets you can distribute to other copies. Eon Tickets received through record mixing cannot be record mixed with other copies to send their own Eon Tickets; the feature is available only to those who receive the Ticket through the e-Reader card distribution (in the context of this distribution service, Ruby and Sapphire users. Emerald users cannot record mix to send out even more tickets). POKEDEX DATA FOR LATIOS AND/OR LATIOS - If you are interested in this distribution service, it’s likely you have an interest in Latios and/or Latias as a whole. Due to their nature as a roaming legendary in post game (Latios roams in Ruby, Latias roams in Sapphire, whichever Lati twin that matches the color you chose on TV roams in Emerald), finding and catching them in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald is an incredibly tedious and difficult task (it took me unironically 9 years to find and catch Latios in Pokemon Emerald, as frankly I didn’t know you could even find a roaming Eon Pokemon back then). If you have never encountered the roaming Latios or Latias in your copy of Ruby, Sapphire and/or Emerald and want to hunt them without wasting literal hours of running back and forth while hoping for an encounter, then this is the bonus for you. If you want, I will trade over my Latios or Latias to register their Pokedex data in your game and then trade them out so that you can hunt the roaming Lati twin much more easily. I will do this only if you want me to (some people enjoy the thrill of the hunt), so let me know if you do or don’t want me to register the Pokedex data for you. FREE STARTERS - For every Eon Ticket up to the third one purchased, you can receive one of three Generation 3 starters (Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip) completely free as a thanks for purchasing. For one Eon Ticket, you get one starter, two Eon Tickets equals two starters, and naturally three Eon Tickets equals all three starters. You will only receive bonus starters if you say you’d like to receive them, so please make sure to let me know of such. Please be aware that you will need to catch Pokemon for use as trade fodder so I can trade them over to you. MULTIPLE GAMES/EON TICKETS - If you have multiple Generation III games and want an Eon Ticket on all of them without having to record mix or not being able to record mix on a copy due to its Eon Ticket being received via record mixing, feel free to send in more than one generation III game. Going with this route also gives the additional bonus of being given more Eon Tickets to record mix (unless you send in multiple copies of Emerald), which is a great feature to have. This service’s listed price is on a per Eon Ticket basis. Prices will lessen the more games you send as shown below. This section is frequently updated with new questions and improved/more detailed answers. “Do my GBA Pokemon game’s internal clock battery being dead matter for this service?:”No - your Pokemon game’s internal battery does not affect my ability to perform this service for you in any way regardless of if it is still functional or currently dead. “Do you offer a service to replace a GB/GBC/GBA Pokemon game’s dead (internal clock) battery?”Unfortunately not at this moment, though I want to in the future. Once I feel comfortable enough with the soldering process (and of course have spare batteries), I will consider it further. “Do you take requests for special and/or custom orders?”I cannot guarantee that I’ll be able to help with specific and custom requests, but it never hurts to ask. Please do not bank on the small chance of this happening. “Is this service done via cheating (GameShark, Action Replay, etc)?”Typically, none of my services involve cheating in any way and are all done to be as authentically as possible. Any that may be considered cheating or not legitimate are explicitly stated as such within their respective descriptions. Feel free to ask about the specific ones if you so wish. “Do you offer your services internationally? Can I mail my game in despite being outside of the US?”Yes, all of my services are currently set up for national shipping. Just to say, please be aware of the high costs that come from partaking from outside of the US since you are paying for both shipping to and from. If purchasing multiple services from me and shipping does not automatically combine, which it seems to not do if buying overseas, please let me know so I can refund you the $25 back. “Do these services work on non-English cartridges?”Yes, a vast majority of my services will work on non-english cartridges. Naturally some of them require a bit of a different process, such as if you want the Oak’s Letter distribution service performed on a Japanese copy of Platinum, I would instead distribute the authentic Japanese Wonder Card instead of the English one since it wouldn’t work properly, but the end result would still be the same ans result in you receiving an authentic Oak’s Letter. “Do I have to send in my system along with the game?”In regards to cartridges being played on GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS, no - those cartridges’ save files are stored within the cartridges themselves, rather than something like the Nintendo Switch save files, which are stored on the system itself regardless of if playing a game physically or digitally. For non-cartridge/digital games however, most of which in this case refer to the 3DS (eShop, Virtual Console), then yes, you would need to send in your entire system. “Is there any way we can communicate outside of eBay messaging?”Yes - you are free to send me a friend request and message me on Discord via my ID of Mvw#0426 - this is very likely the best way to message me, as I’m very active on there (though before friending me, please send a message on eBay letting me know of you sending a friend request so I know who sent it and whether or not to accept said friend request or not.). For the record, I do want to say that the account used is still my personal Discord - I don’t have a separate business account or anything, so do with that as you will. “Can you transfer this Pokemon up to a different generation and trade/transfer it from there?”All events shown are technically compatible with all future generations unless they’re a Ticket/Item distribution service like the Eon Ticket or are specifically mentioned to not transfer up (to Bank and Home), so if you want a Generation 3 WishMaker Jirachi in Pokemon Black 2 for example, let me know and we can discuss this. I’m aware that many will want me to transfer these up into Bank and Home for trading purposes, and yes, I can go ahead and do that too if you so wish. With that said, please be aware it may take a bit of time to transfer everything upwards, and I admittedly do not particularly enjoy this process for anything prior to Gen 6. “Do you plan to offer services for other Pokemon games (LGPE, SWSH, BDSP, PLA, SV, Home, etc)?”I definitely have plans for services for other Pokemon titles in the future, though I don’t have much more concrete information to give at present time. Making these services is a lot more work on my end than it may seem, since I have to write up the description (which as I’m sure you can tell, I always make as thorough and detailed as possible), make the thumbnail, take the best pictures possible, update previous descriptions to include the new listing as a service I offer, update the Q&A if required, and so on. Do I really have to wait that long to receive my game back?”Don’t worry - the shipping times and estimated delivery dates shown are not correct whatsoever. The estimated shipping and delivery times only show as such a long time purely so I can give the customer as long of a time period as I possibly can to mail their game out. As mentioned in the previous question’s response, eBay expects me to purchase and prepare a shipping label after a certain period of time, so I have the maximum shipping time set to give as much time as possible for the customer to get their package ready and the like. Keep in mind that I naturally only want to purchase a shipping label when I’m ready to actually ship, so purchasing one and then having it expire is definitely not something I’d like to have happen. “How do I know this service is legit? How do I know you will mail my game back?”Easily my most commonly asked question, and one I naturally fully understand. Sending your games or even your entire 3DS/2DS to someone you don’t know can be very intimidating and concerning, so I hope the reasons I give share can be understood and go beyond “that’s morally wrong!” To start, please keep in mind that in order for me to actually receive your game/system, I have to send you my address, so if I ever were to not send your game back, you now have my address, proof of a valid purchase, a listing linked to said purchase, and an account you can report to eBay. I also give out my full name when giving my address if anyone needs it for their package, so you would have even more information on me as an individual you could report if need be. I hope that these reasons give you a good idea of why such wouldn't be feasible on my end, and ultimately an incredibly poor idea.
