Description: This is an amazing handheld monocular made by the American company TAKLITE that not too many people know about. It was a direct competitor to Bushnell's $180 monocular which at the time was the only monocular being sold in big box retail stores. We acquired a bunch of these through a private liquidation auction and to the best of our knowledge these are no longer being made. Without a doubt, the most distinguishing feature of this monocular is that the optic is made from real glass (not acrylic resin, like most competing optics) and the eyepiece is abnormally large for an 8x40 monocular (26.5mm) which gives it an awesome field of view.
