Plum Ram 10 Unlocked Dual-SIM Rugged Phone - Basic [Virtually!] Indestructible

Description: Call this a "dumb phone" or "senior phone" or "work phone" or a "backup" - it is what it is for cheap dough and it's still fancier than what we carried for years back in the 90's. If you can live w/o being glued to some "app" all day and just need a phone that will "take a lickin' and keep on tickin'.." then this is your cell phone. Note on memory capacity: This has provision for a micro card to extend memory - if you use it for browsing you will want to pop one in - I never bothered as I only use the phone for voice calls and short texts not net surfing so I have no real idea of the built-in memory size - it wasn't an issue. I have carried phones from this manufacturer for years - I like the rugged design and the simplicity of push button dialing that's always at the ready and quick and easy to answer. You can drop these phones on a concrete floor or get them wet and they shrug off the abuse. I had the "Ram 7" for years and upgraded to the Ram 10 when Mint Mobile stopped support for 3G. Then sometime last spring they made some kind of "network protocol" change that disabled the voice calls on this phone. The manufacturer is still selling the phone - it's a 2022 release. But, I can't get it to work on Mint but they're supposed to work just fine on AT&T, T-Mobile, Walmart, Consumer Cellular, etc. Do your Due Diligence to make sure this model is supported by your carrier - I'm telling you exactly what it is and in fact I bought it off eBay last winter when I thought my 2 or 3 year-old Ram 10 had gone bad. It's just sitting around and it's of no use to me unless I switch carriers which I may do in a couple of months when my Mint Mobile plan runs out as I really like these phones as they're compact, fairly light, they do what they're supposed to do - make calls and short texts are reasonably easy to make, and you aren't faced with a $60 or more disaster for a broken screen if you drop them. Bottom line: If this phone will work for you it's a bargain, if not, then it ain't. Comes with battery and a spare and charging cord. Priced to move and shipping is free so How TF can you beat it at the price for a work phone, "senior phone," backup phone, 911 emergency use, etc. etc? Thanks for looking.
