Description: This is a 1997 Pleasant Company Felicity doll. Felicity was released in 1991. The 1991 to 1996 dolls had bright copper hair and different green eyes each year. The 1991 and 1992 dolls had wigs with wig bands that showed under the hair on the neck. It was eliminated in 1993. The 1995-1997 dolls have barely any face paint. This is true on all the dolls Pleasant company made including the line of Girl of Today dolls and all of the historic dolls. In 1999 the mold was changed on this line of dolls and the faces got slimmer. The faces and the bodies continued to get slimmer as Mattel took over possession of the company. This doll comes in the original design Meet dress with a paper Made in West Germany tag. This was not this dolls original dress. She would've come with one with a no date made in China for Pleasant Company tag. I used this doll in my display of Felicity outfits. She also has on the Meet undershirt/slip, socks, and shoes. Included is the Meet Accessories set. This includes the cap, purse, handkerchief, bit coin, garters, necklace and the explanation card for the money and garters. The Meet Felicity hard cover is a first edition unused book. The doll has a clean body, tight limbs, and clean shiny hair. She has the original hairstyle including all the pin curls. She does not come with her box.
