Description: Here up for sale is a Playcraft Highways set #1 in used condition, without vehicles. Comes with the following: 1 - Set Box, no split corners, has wear, dirt, and staining present as shown. 1 - box of 4 pieces of 9" radius 1/4 circle curves 1 - box of 4 pieces of 9" straight track, #3003/4. Consists of 3 regular 9" straights and 1 9" terminal track with holes along one side for the electrical plugs. Track is used, with the terminal track piece having an area about 1.5" long by 7/16" wide with some glue and paper residue along the center line. 2 - red controllers, one missing the key. 1 box of 'sundries', containing 18 track joiners some having rust, 10 metal track locks, 7 black jack plugs with wires, and v-shaped track tool. 1 - instruction booklet, with guarantee card and other paper. Track has seen little or no use, marked Highways on bottom. Box shows a dented area on top and some wear. 1 - box of 4 pieces of 9" straight track, #3003/4. Consists of 3 regular 9" straights and 1 - 9" terminal track with holes along one side for the electrical plugs. Track is used, with the terminal track piece having an area about 1.5" long by 7/16" wide with some glue and paper residue along the center line. Box cellophane has tears and box shows some wear. 1 red factory painted metal controller with key, #3701, with a rough condition box and a torn off but still present end flap. 1 red factory painted metal controller missing key, with a better condition box and a torn off but still present end flap. Box is missing the cellophane window. 1 box of 'sundries', containing 18 track joiners some having rust, 10 metal track locks, 7 black jack plugs with wires, and v-shaped track tool. Box has all flaps present and some wear. 1 - instruction booklet, 15 pages with some dirt, staining, and wear. Includes introduction to the Playcraft Highways system, track contents lists for the no. 1 and no. 2 sets, assembly and wiring instructions, explanation of how the vehicles work, additional equipment track accessories list, maintenance notes, and track layouts for expanding your layout. 1 - guarantee card with stamped set serial number 1 - track cleaning note paper slip 1 - cardboard inner cover piece stating "please red instructions before assembly' Overall this is a nice set, missing the vehicles (originally contained the '58 Chevy Impala and Ford Lorry (truck). The set never contained a power supply. That AC supply was to be purchased separately.
