This makes it sleeker than all currently available commercial e-cymbals, eliminates a point of failure, and increases the distance from the controller without using extension cables. The cymbal cables are even painted (at top) silver as to blend in with a drum rack. I painted this cymbal in a brass metallic so as to look like a 'real', acoustic cymbal.Triggered with both Roland and Alesis electronic modules, works perfectly.
