Description: This Pink Floyd Shine On box set is a must-have for any rock music fan. The 8-CD set includes all the classic hits from the iconic band, while the 8 collectible post cards and book provide a unique glimpse into their creative process. The CD grading is mint, and the case and inlay conditions are both excellent. This box set is a rare find and a great addition to any music collection. The released Date for this Album was on: November, 9th 1992. This is from my personal music collection, Pink Floyd, and while carefully displayed to take pictures, it does have some small scratches in some of the CD cases but not on the CDS. I will rate this as excellent condition. The Eight CD Albums of Pink Floyd included in this CD Collection: 1.) A Saucerful of Secrets. 2.) Meddle. 3.) The Dark Side of the Moon. 4.) Wish you were here. 5.) Animals. 6.) The Wall. 7.) A Momentary Lapse of Reason. Refer to original albums for track lists, personnel lists, and production credits. The packaging on each of the previously released albums was unique to this music collection set, the music spines of the eight CD Cases displayed the Prism imaging from the cover of the Dark Side of the Moon. Included with the Box Set was a Hardcover Book Chronicling the Career of Pink Floyd, from its inception in the late 1980s and an envelope of 8 PostCards depicting Artwork from the included Seven Albums and the cover of the box set itself. As the collection was meant to Show-Case of one of the best Rock and Roll of Pink Floyd, the decision was made to not include of the Sound Track albums More or obscured by Clouds, or the albums of Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother and the Final Cut. The Band's First Album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, was also omitted, as EMI were planning to release a Special Edition of the album at the time, and it was hoped that many new Fans would buy both this Music Collection Set and the Released Debut Album. David Gilmour said the title of the Shine On Box Set was taken from the Wish You Were Here Track of Shine On You Crazy Diamond and was not meant to indicate retirement on this Bands part but other words of their bands progress and hard work.
