Description: This PING ISI BeNi 3-Iron is a top-quality golf club that is perfect for any right-handed golfer. It is 40” in length, with a Ping Z-Z65 stiff shaft, and has a like new Lamkin Crossline Jumbo grip. The clubhead has been refurbished and looks nearly mint other than the minor scratches/scuffing on the club sole from normal play. It was sandblasted and now has a matte finish to reduce glare & provide some added grip to the club face. Paintfill was redone as well, using white & red enamel paints. This particular line of Ping clubs was special due to the clubhead being made with beryllium nickel, which provides softness akin to that of a forged iron. You get the softness you feel when you strike a ball out of the middle of a forged iron, but you won’t get the harsh feeling of a forged iron if you happen to miss the center. The perimeter weighting and larger profile of the ISI are confidence inspiring at address and offer you tons of forgiveness. The ISI line is great for beginners and mid to high handicappers alike. You will get a consistent, mid-high ball flight, and won’t get the really high spin shots that go far offline. Of course, the downside of low spin is that it’s not easy to work the ball, as that requires spinning the ball in a certain direction. But the benefits outweigh the cost for the average golfer.
