Description: Quintessential vintage (1960's?) Fornasetti Milano gilt porcelain cup/mug and saucer set in "Cammei Oro" pattern--lots of great gilding with cameos in black and white. The saucer has some depth, and the cup nests beautifully in it. Made in Italy. Some minor wear/erosion to the gilding on both cup and saucer, and a tiny black linear mark on the interior of the cup (midway, about 1/4 inch long--see 2nd photo)--All told, the set is in excellent vintage, pre-owned condition. A gorgeous Fornasetti specimen.
