Description: "Soundtrack from the Documentary Film 'Picasso', Flamenco Score for Orchestra and Guitar by Roman Vlad" Folkways Records FS 3860, 1957 release. Vinyl 12" in double sleeve. Includes a pamphlet explaining the soundtrack, connections to Picasso's life that inspired the music. Sleeve is in VG condition with some scuffs, discoloration in spots and general wear. Record is in VG condition with a few visible scratches. The unique aspect of this album is that it bears a rare full color art postcard/sticker depicting Picasso's "The Three Dancers, 1925, Museum of Modern Art" adhered to the front of the sleeve. The vast majority of surviving copies of this record are missing the postcard. In some cases it was evidently removed (like the Warhol banana on the Velvet Underground album) but reportedly many copies were released without it for some reason. In summation, a rare item with crossover appeal given the combination of Picasso's art with the collectible vinyl.
