Description: Photograph of Imperial airways Circe flying boat leaving Port Alexandria, Egypt c1939 .Measuring 8.5cm x 6cm approximately. This item is offered in a good condition, with little wear to the corners and edges. This photograph has come from the collection of Stoker H. Rolfe, who served aboard H.M.S Maidstone a submarine depot ship during the late 1930's to early 1940's. Rolfe himself either took the photo's or collected them along with some postcards and, indeed even appears in several of them. We will send this item in a board backed envelope to ensure it reaches you in the same condition it left us. Any excess postage for multiple orders will be refunded once the items have been packed.
