Description: Antique Philip Ashberry & Sons Silverplate ~ Sheffield, England 5 Fiddleback pattern demitasse/coffee spoons ~ 5" ~ monogrammed GE The bowls of the spoons have a gold wash. The spoons are free of bends, dents, pitting, and corrosion. The gold wash on the bowls is rubbed, and is completely gone on one of the spoons. There is a patina of faint scratches consistent with careful use over the decades. Any white blotches or odd colors in the photos are reflections. The spoons date from the 19th century and have a Philip Ashberry & Sons hallmark and a B in an oval (see photos).
