The Pfaltzgraff Snow Bear pattern commenced being made in 2001 and retired in 2006 and then again 2010 - this pattern features a white polar bear wearing a scarf in different poses; green trees, brown snowshoes, blue snowflakes, and yellowish gold mittens with blue illustrations on the rim; and burgundy & green trim on glossy light cream background. This Round Cheese Plate has a burgundy elevated inner rim to help keep the cheese on the Plate. This stoneware Cheese Plate has the white polar bear wearing a scarf & holding a potted Christmas Tree design in the center & rim designs around the outside rim. The handle of the Knife or Spreader is made from resin & has embossed Snow Bear & snowflake designs. The Blade is made from Stainless Steel. The Cheese Plate measures 8 5/8" in diameter & the Knife or Spreader measures 7 3/4" long. As shown in the 3rd & 4th photographs, the bottom of the Cheese Plate is marked with the blue printed PFALTZGRAFF COPYRIGHT CHINA mark - the blade of the Knife or Spreader is marked STAINLESS STEEL. As noted above, the Cheese Plate is in Excellent Condition with No Chips, Cracks, or Crazing. Glossy Light Cream with Bright, Colorful, and Complete Snow Bear Graphic & Rim Design.
