On the base of the champagne bucket are the markings: 95% for the amount of the purity of the Pewter, Also marked with a Flying cherub with wings in box, also with other stamps including - VA in box. This lovely vintage hand-crafted pewter piece weighs 6 lbs and is crafted from thick solid pewter. This measures: 9.5 inches tall x 9.5 inches in diameter. The ice bucket has thick lovely handles. The side and the bottom both have markings. Pewter is an alloy composed of 95% tin, 3% copper and 2% antimony. Valpeltro guarantees that their products are safe for food use.
