Up for auction is a Peter Max limited edition Umbrella Man from his original color serigraph signed in pencil by the artist Peter Max and number #347/495. This beautiful piece of art is brand new as I just took it out of the Park West gallery box and carefully hung it for these photos. You can see the appraised value is $5950.00 and only increasing in value as Peter Max is no longer painting and has some debilitating health conditions. This Peter Max professionally framed and matted piece by Park West Galleries measures 35” high and 31” wide. When I purchased this Peter Max piece the gallery manager said it is custom framed in black wood molding….unique with Peter Max studio frames. The Serigraph is in color on wove paper from the Peter Max Studio. It is hand signed by Peter Max in pencil lower right margin and numbered in Arabic, lower left. It is number 347 from the edition of 495 examples numbered in Arabic. Each Serigraph (including this one) in the editions above bears the embossed “Peter Max Copyright” seal in the lower left of the margin. This Peter Max art piece will be shipped in the Original box and packaging I received it in. It will be fully insured and will need to be signed for by the buyer. I will be listing many more Peter Max’s artwork including the very rare Angel with two hearts and the original Umbrella Man end of an era sage.
