Due to the natural wood material the color shades and wood grain may vary slightly. This might also effect the look of the engraving which makes each piece truly unique. The engraved cutting boards are all natural unfinished wood and they come with Care & Maintenance Instructions. You can choose to receive the cutting boards engraved, but unpolished. Then you need to seal /condition the board with a butcher block conditioner. You can purchase the conditioning oil through us - as well as a display stand. You can also choose to receive the cutting board from us engraved AND SEALED & CONDITIONED. Then we will do the work for you and seal /condition the board for you, so that it is ready to be used.
