Persian Lamb Coat Size 8 Full Length Blum Store Phila 1950s Monogrammed

Description: This black Persian Lamb coat belonged to my late aunt. It was custom made by The Blum Store in Philadelphia. It is a small size (about an 8) full length dress coat. Blum's went out of business in 1976, so the estimated age of this coat is approximately 70 years. My aunt's initials are monogrammed on the inside lining. The lining is black silk which is in nice condition - strong fabric with no tears. The lamb fur is in beautiful condition. This is an excellent garment for reworking/alterning. The coat is very heavy. These are the minor things that I found that need attention: The eye clasp at the neck needs replacement (one half is missing). There is one button missing. The lining of the coat hangs below the edge on one area in the back of the coat (see photo).
