We are @textiletrunk I'm selling this wonderful bolt, per ONE YARD increments so you can purchase the long length that you need!~ ( I keep all purchases continuous). ( for my international buyers, not to worry, I always refund every penny of over payment in shipping! :) ) This lovely textile is a hand loomed rag rug from Europe, dating from 1950-1970 ~Gorgeous stripes, pattern and colors! These rag rugs add such a charming vibe to any interior. They certainly give a curated look to an interior in a way most textiles just can't! ~ This bolt is hand woven using the available pieces of cloth, hence the name Rag Rug! This rag rug is very different than most, it has used an agricultural sacking, like a plastic thin strips in the weft weave! Around this time, plastic type of material was used in agricultural sacking, so just like the rags, they used what was available! ~ It gives it a more rigid hand! It will add to the life of this textile GREATLY ~ I've never seen this before in these textiles, but it really works! ~ This fabric will be practically indestructible! This textile was woven by hand and used as floor covering. This bolt was woven with natural cotton warp and the weft is woven with strips of various cloths. Because this textile is all woven by hand, there is variation in the width all the way through! The width variation has to do with the tension of the weaver! So , please expect this fabric to vary in width throughout. These rag rugs are used creatively all over the world! They are used as: Stair Runners, hallway runners, Table Runners, pillow fabric, upholstery fabric. They are so versatile and gorgeous! ~ MEASUREMENTS : ~ I'm selling this wonderful bolt per one yard increments, so each purchase if for a length that measures 1 yard long by approximately 29 inches wide. If you would like a longer length, first you must add this to your cart and then change the quantity. For Example if you require an 8 yard long piece, you would simply change quantity to 8 and you will receive one long , 8 yard long piece. (IMPORTANT NOTE : I'm afraid I'm not able to accept returns on any lengths that are less than 3 yards) CONDITION : This fabric is in as found, not freshly laundered condition . This textile can be dry cleaned. They CAN be machine washed, however to add to the longevity of the piece, I always recommend dry cleaning instead!
