Description: This Pennsylvania note from the October 25, 1775 issue was printed by Hall and Sellers on paper containing blue threads and mica flakes. The 4 lowest denominations were smaller in size and features type-set on the reverse rather than nature print. The Penn Arms can be seen with the front along with pillar style borders. The reverse boasts bold nature print along with "To Counterfeit is DEATH". Striking choice uncirculated example with crisp paper, bold printing, 3 strong signatures. This 5 Shilling bill is far scarcer than lower denominations. Of the 6,000 originally printed, only 36 are known to exist today.
