Description: This large and wonderful Mexican folk art ink drawing on Amate (handmade fig bark paper) is by Pedro Diaz Antonio, a Master of Mexican Folk art. Son of Juvenito Diaz Celis. It is in good condition with light wear form age and use. The frame is not great and is missing some clips in the back. I wedged in some cardboard to keep it in place for now. There is a little water damage to the matt on the bottom right corner, but I think it did not really affect the art piece. There is a slight crease in the paper and it is not perfectly flat but I think this was maybe just the paper to begin with. Measures 25.5 inches by 19.5 inches in the frame. The paper piece itself is 23 inches by 16 inches.
