Free USPS Priority Mail shipping is included. I have provided 12 photos and below I try to answer any question I could think of, if you have one please ask before you buy. These are In-Shell, Hand-picked, Dried and Cured Pecans, and with our Pecans being pre-dried before shipping, you will receive more nut and less water weight per order. About 35 in shell Pecans = 1 cup unshelled. These Pecans are from our privately owned Pecan Grove in North Carolina, our oldest Tree is around 200 years old. (Please see photo of tree). Our Pecans are pesticide free, harvested by hand then spend weeks in our Dryer Room. When the majority of kernel water moisture has been removed by circulating air promoting natural evaporation, they are placed in Dye-Free Natural Burlap, in cool storage. Pecans when fully dried, have shrinkage....yep, just like poor George on Seinfeld, shrinkage is a thing and not all Pecans shrink the same, it depends on how much water that Pecan had to loose when it dried. (Photo provided). Our Pecan sizes are: larger than 1 ½ to just over one inch. 1.5” + to 1.0” +. Some of our Pecans like the tree I named "Gloria", has a pretty white line that runs along her back, she is not cracked. I try to remove all Burlap strings, but some may escape my notice. (Please see photo of tape measure). Each order will include our largest nuts (about 85%), some medium and even less of our smaller size. I have included photos of my shelled and unshelled varieties, notice that they are various shades of Golden Amber and Various sizes of Pecans. Each tree does not produce one size Pecan, nor will the same tree produce only one color, as they are Natural Wild Trees. The Pecans you can buy in most stores are from Orchards, genetically altered to be one size, one type, and use pesticides to reduce bug infestation and diseases. These are ALL Old Growth, Wild, All natural Pecans, of various types. 18 Trees are producing nuts this year, not all Old Trees produce each year, some produce Pecans every other year. Did you know the Stuart Pecan was coined in 1880 in Mississippi…my trees are much older, so although they look like Stuarts, they are not. Pecans are healthy, great for baking, excellent for eating anytime and have a long storage life in or out of the shell, I suggest storing your shelled Pecans in your refrigerator in zip lock bags, then you can move the unused portion to your Freezer to continue long term storage for a year or more (depending on which Web-Site you read).
