Description: 1990s Peavey DynaBass - Serial #0018 | Signed by Donald "Duck" Dunn This unique 1990s Peavey DynaBass comes with an incredible backstory. Bearing the highly unusual serial number "0018," it’s a bit of a mystery—there’s no record of production years matching this serial number. According to its history, this bass was gifted to legendary bassist Donald "Duck" Dunn by the owner of Peavey, who lived nearby and was trying to get Duck to endorse the DynaBass. However, Duck ultimately went with Lakland basses instead. This bass spent years in Duck’s closet before he passed it along to me in 2003 when he produced my band The Hellhounds’ album in Memphis. The bass plays wonderfully and has clearly been customized to Duck’s preferences, with chrome parts that may have been added to suit his style. Note: the battery cover is missing. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a case but will be securely wrapped for shipping.
