Description: One original rare gamecock engraving by Charles Turner of London, England. Painted by Benjamin Marshall. Published by W.C. Lee This is a hand colored Mezzotint engraving from circa 1820. I have not removed it from its original faux bamboo frame, which is a unique collectible in its own right. The backing is slightly loose and brittle with age and the glass could use a good cleaning. I am going to leave it intact for its new owner to clean. It measures 21x26. This engraving is part of a set called Peace and War. The engravings are rare and hard to find and are really spectacular in color. Local pick up in Louisville, Kentucky
